Louisiana Crawfish Boil Poster Print

This is an event poster, not a still life: one enormous orange crawfish across the top, a black boil pot below with corn and a potato riding the rim, and the particulars — April 16, Lafayette, LA — set in fat cream type on a bright blue ground. It carries the convivial, spice-red energy of Louisiana's happiest table straight into a kitchen or dining room. Food art with a sense of occasion holds its own at larger sizes, and 18×24 lets the type shout politely from across the room. A black frame suits the bold ground; wood warms it further. Hang it where people actually gather to eat.
