Austin Western Music Festival Poster

The second Austin cat bill is the extrovert of the pair: same black guitarist, but the hat is red, the neckerchief yellow, and the guitar a flat, cheerful blue. Red boots and green cacti flank the act on a cream ground, and the billing promises the Waterloo Park crowd "Rodeo Rhythms and Big Sky Bites," April 19–24. Where its tan sibling deadpans, this one grins in primary colours. A white frame keeps the cream ground bright and lets the red and blue do the shouting. At 12×18in it suits an entryway or a kitchen that takes breakfast seriously. Hung beside the tan Austin country bill, the two cats make a proper diptych.
